Sam Fender will headline two concerts at Newcastle United's St James' Park in June 2027, with the club's season ticket holders and members getting first access to tickets. The North Shields-born singer-songwriter will perform on Thursday 3 June and Saturday 5 June, marking his sixth and seventh sold-out shows at the 52,000-capacity stadium after previous sell-outs in 2023 and 2025. The announcement offers a positive note for supporters as the team currently sits 11th in the Premier League with 8 points from seven games, having recorded two wins and three defeats.
Chief Operating Officer Brad Miller said the events are a highlight for the venue. "The connection between Sam, this stadium and the North East creates an atmosphere unlike any other, making these concerts standout moments on his tour," Miller stated. He added that the club is proud to host an artist who so strongly represents the region and that the concerts are a key part of the stadium's event calendar.
