Newcastle United have announced a multi-year partnership with Taittinger, naming the champagne house as the club's Official Champagne Partner. The deal will see Taittinger served across premium hospitality suites, executive boxes and select club events at St James' Park throughout the season.

The agreement aims to raise the luxury matchday experience for guests and follows a £10 million investment in a major hospitality transformation at the stadium completed over the summer. The club's Chief Revenue Officer, Dave O’Connor, welcomed the collaboration, stating it would create exceptional experiences for supporters and corporate guests. Taittinger’s UK Director, Mills Easby, echoed the sentiment.

Hospitality transformation at St James' Park

Guests in exclusive areas will be served Taittinger’s Brut Réserve, Prestige Rosé, and Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée during matchdays and special occasions. This enhancement arrives as the first team sits 8th in the Premier League with 11 points from eight games, a position they will look to strengthen when they host Everton on 2 November. The club's recent form has been mixed, with two wins and three losses in their last five league outings. This sequence, which includes a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace on 25 October, leaves the team ten points behind the league leaders. Their record of three wins, two draws and three defeats this season has yielded 12 goals scored and 14 conceded.

The Taittinger deal is the latest in a series of commercial partnerships for Newcastle United, following recent agreements with Corpay, Inc. and Coca-Cola, as well as KNOX becoming the training ground and training kit sleeve sponsor. The club's commercial strategy continues to develop off the pitch while the team competes in the top half of the table. Fans can view the upcoming fixtures, including the Everton match, on the club's schedule.

The partnership will be in effect for the next home match against Everton, offering a new premium experience for hospitality guests at St James' Park. The team will aim to build on their recent victory, secured with goals from William Osula and Harvey Barnes, as they face an Everton side currently 11th in the table.
